Annual program of 8 missions designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving in 2nd grade.

General Objective

Equip students with STEM tools to research their environment, design sustainable solutions and collaborate on projects with real impact on their community.

STEM Fundamentals

Science: Biology and body energy.
Engineering: Design of balanced food systems.
Mathematics: Nutritional data analysis.

Key Activities

  • Heart Rate Laboratory: Measurement at rest vs. activity.
  • Construction of «My Plate»: 3D modeling of a balanced diet.
Tools: Timers, GoNoodle.

STEM Fundamentals

Science: Local ecosystems and pollination.
Technology: Digital identification of species.

Key Activities

  • Bio-Search: Registration of insects and local flora with magnifying glasses.
  • Pollinator Engineering: Construction of insect hotels.
Tools: Seek (iNaturalist), Google Lens.

STEM Fundamentals

Mathematics: Calculation of costs and benefits.
Technology: Graphic design for branding.

Key Activities

  • Product Prototyping: Creation of objects with commercial value.
  • STEM Market: Sales simulation and budget management.
Tools: Canva, Simple spreadsheets.

Engineering: Simple machines (levers and shafts).

  • Catapult Challenge: Optimization of launch and range.
  • Wheel and Axle Derby: Aerodynamic vehicle design.
